Civil Engineering Construction Joint-Stock Company No. 525 (abbreviated as CIENCO 525) was equitized from Construction Company 525 under the Transport Construction Corporation 5 - Ministry of Transport under Decision No. 4029/QD - BGTVT dated December 26, 2002 of the Minister of Transport.

After almost 60 years of formation and development, the company is showing its mettle of a heroic unit during the resistance war and national reconstruction and rehabilitation. CIENCO 525 has completed more than 1,000 projects of technical infrastructure, traffic, and wharf across the country.
